Saint Joseph School in Carteret seeks a passionate and creative Art Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This position serves Pre-K3 through 8th grade students, fostering artistic expression, creativity, and appreciation for the arts in a faith-based learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement an engaging art curriculum for students of all grade levels.
Introduce students to various artistic techniques, mediums, and art history.
Foster a love for creativity and self-expression while integrating Catholic values.
Organize student art displays and participate in school wide events.
Collaborate with teachers and staff to support cross-curricular projects.
Maintain an organized and welcoming classroom space conducive to artistic exploration.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field.
Teaching certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Experience working with elementary and middle school students.
Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
Commitment to Catholic education and values.
