Dear Parents and Guardians,
FAITH, EXCELLENCE, SERVICE: These three words from the theme of Catholic Schools Week speak so well to the qualities that Saint Joseph School proclaims and that our young people experience. We have a specific purpose to form students to love God and neighbor, (FAITH) to demonstrate the ability to perform, achieve, and excel in academic activities (EXCELLENCE) and to enrich society (SERVICE).
We are so looking forward to celebrating Catholic Schools Week at Saint Joseph School and we sincerely hope that you will be able to attend our many celebrations that showcase our awesome school. Catholic Schools Week begins on January 29 and continues through February 4, 2023. Typically, we observe our annual celebrations with Mass, open houses, and other activities for students, families, parishioners, and community members. Through these events, Saint Joseph School will focus on the value of Catholic education that we provide to our young people.
I am grateful to you who have made a decision to choose Saint Joseph School for your child’s Catholic education and I also want to thank the teachers and staff whose hard work and faithful service assist you, our parents and guardians, in the education of the children.
So, let us pause and think about the blessings of our Catholic school! We have so much to be grateful for and it all stems from our belief in and love of Christ. A Catholic School foundation, especially an education at Saint Joseph School, is one that allows FAITH, EXCELLENCE AND SERVICE to carry into future generations.
Thank you for your continued faith in the mission of Catholic education and for entrusting the most precious gift to Saint Joseph School, your children.
Below is a list of our celebrations for the week. Please celebrate
Catholic Schools Week with us and share our celebrations:
Sincerely,
Ms. Joanne McKnight, M.Ed.
