Hi! My name is Ms. Durso and I am so happy to continue my teaching career at Saint Joseph School. I am looking forward to being your child's Preschool - 3 Teacher this year. We will learn and grow so much together through our play and engaging activities. This will be my 2nd year teaching 3-year-olds at St. Joseph School. I’ve also taught several years with 3-year-olds, and 4-year-olds as well as grades K, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in other schools in NY, NJ, and CT. I received my Bachelor's and Master’s degrees from Long Island University with a dual certification in Early Childhood/Elementary Education N-8.

The poster shows why reading aloud to your child is so important for so many reasons.
Visit your library and let your child choose several books to bring home. If your child chooses a book with a rabbit as the main character, ask your librarian where to find a nonfiction book about a rabbit. You will see how your child will love both.
The Carteret Library seems to have some programs for preschoolers. You can find them listed when available on the Carteret Library Facebook page.
