PowerSchool is an Internet based student data information system designed to share information between parents, students, and teachers regarding student grades and attendance. Teachers are able to provide grade information and comments with this program through parental connection. Students and parents will be able to view grades and future assignments in order to work together for the students’ academic success. Email notification is available for parents as an option.
All parents in Saint Joseph School are required to attend an informational session prior to receiving an ID and password. No family will receive any information until a disclaimer is signed and returned to the school office after the informational session. If a parent can not attend the session that is held, the parent will be able to attend another session at a different school. Contact our chool office or our Technology Coordinator, Mrs. Bridget Dean for a listing of sessions.

Close cooperation between the home and school is most important. To help achieve this, there is a Home School Association (HSA) at Saint Joseph School. The purpose of HSA activities is to aid in the financial support of our school and promote a sense of community. In order that this aim be accomplished, it is necessary that all parent/guardians contribute to and support all fundraising activities. The money raised by the HSA helps to offset the financial obligation of both the family and the parish.

This is a program where store vouchers are purchased at face value with a percentage of the total purchase being returned to Saint Joseph School. This is a great way for our school to earn additional funds at no extra cost to you. Example: you pay $20 and you will receive $20 in SCRIP. Instead of using cash, you use the SCRIP to make your purchases. This program has the potential for being a very profitable fundraiser. Each family is responsible for purchasing $2,000 in SCRIP over the course of a year. At least half this amount must be purchased by the end of the second marking period with the remaining amount to be purchased by the end of the school year.

Saint Joseph School has invested in Swift Reach - A Rave Mobile Safety Company. All emergency phone calls and reminders are through this system. All phone numbers and emails are put in by the school office. Please advise the office if any changes need to be made.
