On Monday, April 14, the 8th grade presented Mary's Way of the Cross. The 14 Stations of the Cross represent important moments in Jesus’ Passion, beginning with his condemnation and ending with his burial. They offer a visual and spiritual path that invites believers to reflect on Jesus’ suffering and sacrifice through prayer and meditation.
The following are the 14 Stations of the Cross:
Jesus is condemned to death by Pontius Pilate.
Jesus takes up his cross.
Jesus falls the first time under the weight of the cross.
Jesus meets his mother, Mary.
Simon of Cyrene is forced to help Jesus carry the cross.
Veronica wipes the face of Jesus with her veil.
Jesus falls the second time.
Jesus comforts the women of Jerusalem.
Jesus falls the third time.
Jesus is stripped of his garments by the soldiers.
